ERPC Completes Solana Mainnet Beta v3 Upgrade Across All Regions, Advancing Toward a Next-Generation Communication Infrastructure with Future Alpenglow Support

ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Headquarters: Amsterdam, the Netherlands; CEO: Fumitake Kawasaki) and Validators DAO have completed the upgrade of all ERPC and gRPC endpoints across all regions to Solana Mainnet Beta v3, following Solana’s latest recommended version update.
This upgrade introduces full compatibility with Solana CLI v3 and the latest Geyser Plugin, establishing a more stable and optimized infrastructure. All services remain available at the same pricing as before.
Background of the Solana v3 Upgrade
Solana Mainnet Beta v3 implements multiple improvements designed to achieve higher network efficiency and consistency.
In the upcoming roadmap, the next-generation protocol “Alpenglow” is planned to be introduced, which aims to shorten block finalization times to approximately 100–150 milliseconds.
ERPC has already optimized communication paths and data processing structures across its global regions to ensure flexible compatibility with future protocol upgrades. This allows the platform to maintain top-tier performance even after the adoption of Alpenglow and other advanced features.
Details of the Upgrade
- Full support for Solana CLI v3 and the latest Geyser Plugin
- Unified configuration across gRPC, HTTP, WebSocket, and Shredstream communication methods
- Node restructuring and stream stabilization in all regions
- Enhanced low-latency connectivity through the DoubleZero network
During the upgrade process, all services remained operational. Only minor temporary reconnection events occurred, and overall availability was maintained.
All gRPC, HTTP, and Shredstream endpoints are now fully unified under the Solana v3 configuration across all regions.
Solana RPC Bundle Plan

The Bundle Plan provides integrated access to HTTP, WebSocket, gRPC, and Shredstream in a single package.
It is the most widely adopted configuration, enabling projects to maintain their production environment while simultaneously developing high-speed streaming capabilities.
Existing RPC or gRPC users can migrate to the Bundle Plan and start using Shredstream at no additional cost, making it ideal for production-grade testing and performance validation.
This plan offers a flexible and practical configuration for Solana-based projects, supporting both development and operations.
Premium Ryzen VPS

The Premium Ryzen VPS features world-class 5.7 GHz high-clock CPUs, ECC DDR5 memory, NVMe4 storage, and dual 25 Gbps networking, all under a non-oversubscribed design that delivers bare-metal level performance.
Network distance directly affects communication performance.
In latency-sensitive environments such as Solana, it is essential not only to improve resource performance but also to minimize physical distance and optimize network routing.

The Premium Ryzen VPS operates on the same network as ERPC, located in the same data centers as major Solana validators and the Jito platform, achieving true zero-distance execution.
Challenges Addressed by ERPC and Validators DAO
- Transaction failures and latency fluctuations in RPC environments
- Performance limitations imposed by many infrastructure providers
- The significant impact of network distance on communication quality
- Limited access to high-quality infrastructure for small and mid-sized projects
Through the development of the open-source Solana NFT card game project Epics DAO, we faced the challenge of lacking accessible, high-performance Solana development environments.
We therefore built our own platform and began providing ERPC and SLV based on that experience.

Financial applications, in particular, are mission-critical — delays and errors directly affect user experience.
With Solana’s distributed validator structure and the complex layers inherent to Web3, achieving overall stability and predictability has long been a challenge for many projects.

With the upcoming introduction of next-generation technologies such as Alpenglow, Solana is expected to achieve even faster block finalization and further improvements in its communication layer.
ERPC and Validators DAO will continue to adapt to these developments and contribute to improving both the development and user experience across the entire Solana ecosystem. ERPC and SLV are positioned as integral components of that ongoing effort.
